Older Adult Transit Fair

The Transit Fair will present information on transit options for seniors and those with disabilities from a variety of service providers.

As part of the Aging in Community Initiative, one of the Village's goals is helping older adults get around with ease. To help with this, we are hosting an Older Adult Transit Fair on September 29 from 2 to 3:30 pm at Village Hall. The fair will present information on transit options for seniors and those with disabilities from a variety of service providers. Speakers from Connections to Care, PACE, Regional Transit Authority (RTA), Wheeling Township, and Elk Grove Township will be on site to share information, and attendees will be able to complete transit applications on the spot. This event is free and will include a resource fair after the presentations. Our transportation booklet can be found on our website, mountprospect.org/humanservices, and is available in print in the Human Services Department.
