As the nights get cooler and Indian Summer sets in, Hartman will share tips for selecting and establishing perennials to be planted in the fall. She will highlight many varieties of fall-blooming perennials for both sun and shade. Kim is an Illinois Certified Nursery Professional and Lake County Master Gardener. She is the President of the Landscape Illinois Association and chairs their Education Committee. This Garden Club of Mount Prospect event will begin with a 30-minute social gathering, followed by an hour-long presentation by Hartman. After that, the club will have an 11 am business meeting.
