The Village is hosting a special guest speaker presentation on native plantings — why they matter, how to add them to your garden, and the positive impact they have on our local environment.

Our guest speaker, Kaitlyn Scheid, Conservatory and Greenhouse Manager at the Friendship Park Conservatory, will share her knowledge and experience. Kaitlyn works for the Mount Prospect Park District and has a passion for helping communities connect with native plants.

She’ll give a short presentation, followed by plenty of time for questions and discussion.
