Oktoberfest
Friday, September 19
4 – 11 pm
DOWNTOWN MOUNT PROSPECT
Emerson St. & Busse Ave.
Mount Prospect will show off its heritage September 19 + 20 as the Downtown Merchants Association presents Oktoberfest. It will be a weekend full of fun, music, and food as visitors near and far come together downtown.
Oktoberfest transforms the intersection of Emerson Street and Busse Avenue Friday and Saturday nights from 4 to 11 pm. Enjoy live music by Paloma both nights as they perform a variety of classic German songs, new German hits, oldies, country, and classic standards. Traditional German food and beverages will be available for all to enjoy.
Parking will be available in the Emerson Street Parking Deck, the Maple Street Parking Deck, and the East and West Metra Commuter Lots. Ample bike parking can be found throughout the area. If you have friends coming from other towns the party will take place just one block from the Metra station. Oktoberfest and Fall Festival are put on by the Mount Prospect
Downtown Merchants Association (MPDMA), a non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer board that strives to spread
awareness of all that downtown Mount Prospect has to offer.
