New Traffic Pattern on W. Busse Ave with Pedestrian Detour Begins April 25
Due to the construction of the 20 West mixed-use development project, a new traffic pattern for W. Busse Avenue and temporary closing of sidewalks will occur in Downtown beginning April 25.
The west portion of Busse Avenue near the intersection of Wille Street will be closed. One-way west bound traffic on Busse will be routed north via a temporary road to the public alley, which accesses both Main Street and Wille Street. Directional signs will be posted. This traffic pattern establishes what will become the final roadway design once construction is completed. See map below. View larger image.
The public sidewalk along Northwest Highway between Wille Street and Main Street will be closed, as well as the public sidewalk along the east side of Wille Street from the alley (south of Village Centre Condominiums) to Northwest Highway. At this time, pedestrian sidewalk access will be available on the south side of the alley. See map below. View larger image.
All businesses on the “Triangle” block along W. Busse Ave will remain open through the duration of construction and public parking will remain available.
