Post Date:11/10/2017 12:31 PM

The Village of Mount Prospect’s Special Events Commission is once again honoring individuals and organizations that have a positive impact on the community. The Shining Star Awards are presented on the basis of nomination by community leaders, business owners, community member and residents. The categories cover a wide range of interest areas and are designed especially to seek out individuals who do things that often go unnoticed. If the person you are thinking of doesn't fit one of the categories, don't worry, the last category can be whatever you think it should be.
